The President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor, presented the Fire Brigade Association of Slovenia with a document on the assumption of honorary patronage over the Celje Fire Brigade Olympics 2022.
On 10 February 2022, Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia, prepared a reception on the occasion of the presentation of the document on the assumption of honorary patronage over the Celje Fire Brigade Olympics 2022.
The event took place in the Great Hall of the Presidential Palace. In addition to Janko Cerkvenik and Franc Petak, president and commander of the Slovenian Fire Brigade, Milan Dubravac, president of CTIF, also attended. Before that, all three had a meeting with President Borut Pahor and Nataša Kovač, Secretary General of the Office of the President of the Republic of Slovenia, and Boštjan Šefic, President’s National Security Adviser.
The ceremony was also attended by Mag. Matej Tonin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Darko But, Director General of the Protection and Rescue Administration, members of the Organizing Committee for the Firefighting Olympics Celje 2022, members of PGD Zbilje together with mentor Matic Herceg in Switzerland in 2019) and others.
The ceremony was enriched by the performance of the Male Choir of PGD Planina near Sevnica.
